I have a '95 Z28 I'm about to part out, but I figure someone on this site may be interested in the whole car. I bought it for spares for my Firebird originally. I was going to make a racer out of it, but we are adopting a toddler who is now living with us, and my wife is expecting and not working. So... I only have time and space for one project right now.

The car is a 6 speed with 149,000 miles. It is a southern car and the chassis appears to be very clean (structurally). It starts and runs. Car is completely stock.

The ugly: Clutch is shot. I had to put a new slave cylinder in to move it. The battery is dead, but using my firebird's battery it will start and can be driven aroud the block or up a trailer. It may have a rear main leak. The guy I bought it from gave me a new seal. Power windows are inop. Car is in my garage and I had drilled the motors out to replace them but haven't yet. I believe the A/C is no good either. The aftermarket radio was stolen. (I bought it from a co-worker who left it unlocked at a Wal-Mart). The carpet and driver's seat are pretty much done. I had originally planned to remove the A/C, interior, replace the window motors and clutch and do some HPDE events so as not to trash my 'bird which is my first (and a one owner) car.

If someone wants to take the whole car, $1500. If not, I am going to start pulling parts. Title is clean. Car is green with black roof. Tan interior. Dash is good. Clearcoat is peeling, as is the paint on the hood. Any questions please let me know. Located in orlando, FL. Thanks, Tom

Sounds like a pretty nice race car starter kit! Not in the cards for me, though.

It's the last thing I need, and it's probably good that it's not closer. I didn't see t-tops mentioned, but I've been kicking around buying another one as a driver (and T-tops are a plus).

I haven't seen this car but I know Tom and he is a stand up guy. This is the "holy grail" hard top six speed car so it's a great CMC or AI caniddate. I was considering it but already have a project car that I'm neglecting.

If it was closer, I'd do it in a heartbeat (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif)

I'd have to get a trailer and it's probably not worth the time and gas for me. Sorry.

I'm suddenly having crazy thoughts of checking a tool box as luggage, flying down, throwing a clutch in it and driving it home. I'm pretty sure I'd need my head examined to try such a thing, but I keep finding that idea wandering through my head.

Because I need 5 cars, that's why...

I quickly closed the thread for fear he would have said yes to that question ...
I need another F-Body really bad.
<=== has 4

From the description, this car is $500 in parts, $2500 in cage and $1000 in safety gear to be CMC legal.

I just took some pictures of it in my garage, but I don't know how to post them. If someone is really interested I can e-mail them. I think the discription is accurate, and as complete as can be given that I've never driven the car beyond first and reverse. I may be able to borrow a trailer from a friend at work, so there is the possibility I could move it to meet someone. I have some people interested in it as a driver, but IMO it needs too much to be a comfortable daily vehicle.

Sent pics. The engine compartment, the hood (which is peeling, and the worst of the body by far), the dash, the back end and a side view. I put a pair of my firebird's wheels on front while I had the Z wheels on the bird (bald tires from the bird) The salad shooters go with it. Side note: anyone have a set of factory 17x9's or a single 16x8 five spoke for sale cheap?

Did the math, actually probably more like $600 in gas... ouch. The fuel efficiency of diesel doesnt mean crap when its so much more expensive than gas, at least the environments happy. That right, my 02 doesnt have cats ... I guess no ones happy ... But I digress...
