hahaha - my car does that on MY OWN driveway! Gotta get about 5mph hitting the driveway so that momentum will carry me. Tires get a bit of wheelspin, then chirp when they regain traction.
The wife still asks what those skid marks are from... |

Nice!
I get high centered getting out of my garage. Nothing like getting stuck three feet from where you started. |

This is what the neighbors or one of their friends did for Christmas! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) This sucker was almost mud to the hubs!
(IMG:http://geckoranch.com/images/xmasoops_a.jpg) I could have pulled them out with the Duramax but did not know how to grab a beamer and decided the mud would prevent me from finding out how easily. They just put this "driveway" in and I saw someone had made it to the house the other day, leaving deep tracks. I thought "that was lucky!"
Reason for edit: typo

Usually Beamers have little panels that can be removed from a bumper. Under that panel is a hole where a tow eye can be screwed. Sometimes the cars have the tow eyes in their trunk, other times the tow truck has to supply them.
In other words, there's no way you were going to be able to be a Good Samaritan without the owners around. It's the thought that counts, though! |

That BMW reminds me of a ride I took in my old Saturn. It was in an "under construction" neighborhood that had no houses or construction yet, and no public access. Right after a big rain, too. The rain washed a lot of mud onto the road surface.

I would not be a good neighbor if I ripped a body panel off their Beamer. Good info about that particular car though! Cars did not do well for these neighbors. Besides the Beamer getting stuck, I saw their classic Mustang had heavy front end damage in the last few days. It looked like they were restoring this car, now it is probably just a parts car. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) They must think they are snakebit! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |

I took a similar ride in my bright red Dodge Colt Turbo, not voluntarily though! I was on a country road and approached two cars that appeared destined for a head-on collision. Not wanting to get tangled up with them, I drove as carefully as I could off into a farmer's muddy field. That car had 50 series Yokohama A008s and I just about did not get out of there! The cars managed to avoid each other and went on their ways. When I got home hubby asked "What happened?" I said "Don't ask!"
I know that is a lot of work to get clean! That BMW reminds me of a ride I took in my old Saturn. It was in an "under construction" neighborhood that had no houses or construction yet, and no public access. Right after a big rain, too. The rain washed a lot of mud onto the road surface.
