My friends son wrecked his car and he's looking for a dash and impact sensor (under the front bumper) for a 94 Camaro (or equivalent).

Anybody have one?

I'm still gutting my 96 T/A. Not sure it has the same sensors...I don't even know where they would be ..lol.

If they are the same, he's welcome to have them for the price of shipping.

He said the sensor is located under the hood latch (radiator support area?) that he needs. Let me know when you find it. Shipping will be to Galloway, OH 43119 (or close enough it will be the same price).

I'm guessing you've never had the airbags triggered in this car (he asked)?

I have one out of a 94 camaro that I'll get rid of. I don't know if his airbags blew or not, but I'll sell those cheap too.

The airbags blew, that's why he's looking for a replacment dash. I don't know if he has replacements yet, but I can ask. Where are you located?

Edit:

You have a sensor and air bags, but you don't have a spare dash, correct?

The bags never went off on mine, but I don't remember seeing any sensors when I took the whole hood release stuff off the car, or the rest of the junk in the front. Might be in a different spot on a T/A. I know there was a big air bag sensor under the interior center console. Maybe they switched to that setup in later years?

Here's a pic of my interior and the sensor box is below the shifter where the driver's seat is suppose to be;

My 1992 had one on the radiator support, one on the trans tunnel under the dash and one under the center console. So, I'm going to bet the later cars had 3 as well.

I have some of that stuff left from my 94, let me know what you can't get locally. I'm pretty sure the dash is still in my basement room, and I have a box of misc wiring, would be good to clear up that floorspace.

I'm located on the north carolina coast. I have two unblown airbags and the center console sensor. If I spent a few minutes pulling my front clip off I'm sure I could find the other sensor you need.

I don't have a spare dash. Mine is all cracked up and horrible, but I plan on reinstalling it anyways.

I spoke to him this morning. He did find a set of airbags. And I'll verify that he only needs the front (radiator core support) airbag sensor.

Thanks guys!

I dug around the basement and found a box with all 3 sensors from my 94, just have to figure out which one is the front - PayPal me $10 for postage and I'll get it to you.
