My son and I were on the track at BeaveRun in Pa over the weekend. He in his Firebird and me in my 2001 Camaro SS. I race a 91 Vette in NASA ST2 and also have run it in SCCA also. My problem is I can't hear the engine and was on the rev limiter too often. On the Vette it's easy to tell about when to shift even though I have a light. The exhaust is so quiet and the LS1 revs so freely I'm afraid I'm going to blow it. I have a spare shift light I would like to install. Being 67 years old and lazy [ already have spent too much time on and under cars] I don't want to make the connection under the dash and at the tach. I was told on the passenger side front fender one of the 3 connectors there have the tach signal. Which connector and which wire/color. Thanks for any help.
I know you want to know our times. We were only 0.036secs apart in time. He was fastest.

I can be reached directly at orawiecs33@comcast.net and will also keep checking this post.

THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL AND ANY INFO
