my previous partner got into an accident, wrecked his truck, had to pull out.
im looking for a navigator/partner for the targa. the registration is already paid for and reserved; you'd be responsible for a share of that. i already have a car, parts, and plans. its been a process since last november. www.targanewfoundland.com this is very expensive. that needs to be understood first. its not a $40 autox or a $350 track day. this is an entire week of racing. the lodging is separate, and will run about $1K for 2 people. too many details to get into here; if anyone is interested, PM or email. i need someone who can afford this effort, and has the dedication to stick with it. local or willing to drive to NE jersey a must. |

That sucks!!! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif)
Someone step up and do this, it's worth every penny for the "vacation" and I would step in for the chance to go again but I cannot commit the time. An experience that you will never forget! It's more than just a race, you will meet great people, race on roads you never thought you could do legally, and be placed on a pedastal by the locals and the organization. The island is historic, views are breathtaking, people are warm and welcoming, charming villages you'll visit, I think it's a right of passage to manhood. DO THIS RACE AND BE WORSHIPED! i am on unemployment I have a ton of right seat experience and stick time at Open Road events, member of the 200mph club and then some. But cost for me to get from FAR left coast (seattle) to EXTREME right coast is just to cost prohibitive right now. Especially since i just sunk the tax return into taking my family of 7 to Disneyland for 5 days in June. I might have to start a fund raiser in the neighborhood tomorrow. Put all the kids out on the street selling lemonade in the rain. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif) "OK Kids, daddy wants to go racing....go make me some money". |
