I've got a line on some light weight racing wheels for cheap. I will need a 2" adapter for the front and 1.75" for rear. The spacers I am looking at have 12mm 1.5 studs. Would this application be safe to race on?

Depends on the quality. I wouldn't buy the ones on ebay that are machined in China, but I race on USA made adapters

Thanks, yeah I know about the quality thing, what concerns me is using anything thicker than 1". Anybody running anything thicker than 1"?

I have a couple of buddies running spacers exactly like these 35mm thick (1.37 inch) with no problems. These here are for RUF tuned P-car.

I have a couple 2" adapters (made in USA) I was planning to use my CCW's with on the 67, but it's not going to work and I'm going a different route..let me know if you want them cheap (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I can get the exact sizing but i believe they are 12mm 1.5...

and no, I haven't ran them


edit, they are:

5 lug 4.75" to 5 lug 4.75"
12mm x 1.5 grade 8 hardened steel pressed-in studs
are hub centric

Thanks Chris, I may need them. I was going to go to an Enkei NT03+M-F1. These wheels are quoted as race wheels and very light and inexpensive but I just closed a deal on some 2001 forged Z06 wheels for $600 and they are only about 1/2 lb heavier so I will need hub centric spacers.

I've tried to research offset for these wheels but haven't come up with anything yet so when I find out I will let you know if they will work.

I'm finally going to get some 315's on the back of my '69 (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I may be going to 50 mm which is what is concerning me but thanks, thats a little more re-assuring.

BTW, there is a company here in the USA by the name of Motorsport Tech that makes them from Alcoa 6061t6 billet aluminum. He can custom make anything you need.

OK, so I was going to go with the Enkei wheels but I saw a smoking deal on Craigs list. Picked them up today for $600, 2001 Z06 forged Speedlines. the front are about 19.5 lbs and rears are about 21.5 lbs. Not bad for OEM wheels!!

Goint to need 2.5" spacers for rear and 1.75" for front so if you guys have any available let me know.

I'm running a pair of the Motorsport-tech adapters on my car, and they're every bit as nice as the H&R ones on the front.
