Just curious how some of the older stock/race f-bodies vettes out there compare to newer cars. I know there are lots of factors that would offset times but for shits and giggles....
I took a few from motortrends site.. 2010 Dodge Viper ACR - 1:33.92 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 - 1:35.83 2009 Nissan GT-R - 1:40.45 2008 BMW M3 - 1:42.96 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 - 1:44.32 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS - 1:45.72 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X MR - 1:47.7... 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS - 1:47.75 2009 Mazda RX-8 - 1:50.42 2006 Honda Civic Si - 1:54.99 Source |

I guess I was wrong. What kind of times are you guys with street legal 4th gens getting? This post has been edited by Steve91T: Jul 18 2011, 10:51 PM |

I believe my best time in the Camaro was 1:36.xx.....what it would have been this year, we will NEVER KNOW, but I was several seconds faster at Sears Point, and a couple at Thunderhill in the hour and 20 minutes the car ran with the new suspension....sigh...

Every Honda S2000, Spec Miata, STi, and Evo fan boys love running that configuration to compare to magazine times..which is why Speed Ventures almost always will run 13CW bc it sells out |

My first time ever on BW 13CW, I was running 2:17-2:20 on dead shocks and badly warped brake rotors. I would like to see how much time I could peel off that with the new suspension setup/shocks/rotors... I think I should probably be in the ballpark of around 2:07ish with my noob ass behind the wheel based on how well the car felt on SOW last weekend.

The car is good for ~ a low :37 with good conditions and no traffic |
