If your car has current tags, you could do the track naked.
Same for the German and Italian track days I did. No safety requirements.
They have a different attitude towards personal responsibility in Europe.

I believe the Ring is considered a public road and anyone can drive it for a fare. I saw a video with a Bus on it and M3's lapping it on a Saturday or Sunday.

Motorsport in europe isnt so slack. I intend to take the 2nd or 3rd Gen to Spa later this year for a race and they are a bit fussy with the FIA stuff.
