Phoenix Built Race Car, 19,000 original miles on the car. 2001 Firebird Formula

One of the winningest Firebird's in NASA history! Dozens of Track records and multiple National Championships in CMC, PTB & TTB. Car is as ran when we won both PTB National Championship's at Watkins Glen & Buttonwillow Raceway.

Cage and Original Build by Phoenix Performance. Raced in SCCA Touring 2 from 2005 to 2007.

Safety equipment done by Alan Blaine. Anyone who has seen the car, knows this car is prepped second to none, spherical bearings throughout, 13" Wilwood 6 Piston (thermolock) Brakes. 17" Wheels (2 total sets of wheels included).

Engine started out in 2005 as a brand new LS1 Crate motor purchased from GM, (LS6 Intake) Then in late 2007 sent off to Rebello Racing and blueprinted and balanced throughout. Full Custom 3" Race Exhaust, two mufflers to stay below 94DB for all Race Tracks.

Trans is a Rockland Standard Gear Tranzilla, just gone through in 2015, with, SPEC Race Clutch & Pressure plate, aluminum flywheel & aluminum driveshaft.

Koni Shocks & H&R Race Springs. Spherical Bearings throughout all front and rear lower control arms. Offset Upper control arm bushings, Custom Strut Tower Brace.

Cobra FIA Carbon Fiber Seat, OMP Steering Wheel, Full Halon Fire Suppression System.

I'm sure i'm leaving out much of the cars equipment, car prepared with only the best of everything and ready to race and win.

Priced for Quick sale $17,500 or best offer.

Would love to see it go to a good home and get back on the track, we have 3 cars, and it's time to make room in the garage. Car can be run in PTC, PTB, CMC or American Iron.

Tons of Spares, intakes, ignition, brakes, wheels, diffs, etc.
