I've got some parts I need to move from the T56 swap I'm doing on my 3rd gen.
Here's what I've got: LT1 T56 Bell housing and lower shield with slave cylinder studs $275 + $12 shipping OBO (I'm seeing these sell for $395 all over) Complete Hydraulics M/C to slave with push rod (no slave spacer) $45 OBO + $10 freight Borg Warner Clutch fork in good condition with pivot (spring clip has 1 ear broken but it still retains the pivot) $150 shipped OBO OE Tremec LT1 Input shaft (shows wear but I'd use it if it worked with the adapter I'm using) $120 OBO +$ 10 shipping OE LT1 flywheel and clutch (flywheel needs cut, clutch and pp could be used to teach someone to drive a stick with, but its about gone) $75 OBO buys it all, actual shipping to your zip. PM me if you want pics. All parts may be listed other places, so if it doesn't say sold, I'm still tripping over it... Billy |

Didn't you have some kind of weird gearing before the swap? Are you converting over to an LS-style clutch?

The Muncie has a 2.20 first, 1.64 second, 1.28 third and 1:1 fourth so with the 3.42 rear gear it makes all of the gears really long. I want to re-use my SFI flywheel/clutch and SFI blowproof bell. Several companies make an adapter plate that bolts to my bell using an LS1 input shaft. It allows me to bolt my LT1 T56 to it. 13.5 MPG with the Muncie and 3400RPM at 75mph is less than ideal on long road trips like the one we took a few weekends ago in preparation for HotRod PowerTour...
I may do the Viper ouput conversion along with the mods we did to your trans... |

Ah yes, steel 3-4 shift fork, bronze shift pads, bronze shifter cup. Along with the B&M shifter it already came with gave it a gun-like feel that I really dig.
