Our Northern California Racing Club event calendar for 2004 has been published. Dates will be added throughout the year to this strong list of 16 weekend and weekday track days. We have two events ready for sign-ups right now, Thunderhill on Feb 9th, and Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca on Feb 11-12. See www.ncracing.org/events.html for details on both events.

Our first event of the year is February 9th at Thunderhill Park in Willows California. This is the time to breakout this winter and get some early season track time. Indeed, this may be the lowest priced event of the year at Thunderhill -- from what we can tell the cost at this track has gone up substantially. If you want to shatter the winter doldrums and not worry about breaking the bank, this is your event.

We're holding a two-day NCRC event on Wed-Thurs February 11-12th at the fabulous Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. This will be the kickoff event for our 2004 Time Trial series, so sign up now to start scoring your points! This year, Laguna (unfortunately) is going to be very tight for club days. So we recommend getting your track days booked, as there is likely to be very little available in the second half of the year.

Another item of note:
We've launched the American Racing Club (ARC), which will hold a California racing championship series this year. It's a challenging drivers series of thirteen races at four of California's best tracks. Some of the top drivers will be pitted against each other under a unique format and clean racing rules.
