First I have to know what it is?

This site is set up on a board that seems to have far less features available than some of the others, but if you tell me what it is, I'll see what I can do.

The RSS feed sends new threads to my Yahoo home page - the new threads show up with the title and the first few lines of text. New post don't pull the thread back to the top.

I don't have to check the board that way.

It's particularly helpful on a board like the LS1Tech for sale section, because that board moves like a page every two hours because of the new post, and I can never remember what threads I have looked at and which ones I haven't.

Obviously once I reply to a thread I get the normal email notice, so that keeps me in the loop on any updates to a thread I am interested in.

I would probably RSS this entire board if it was available, as the s/n ratio is much higher here (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Most news sites now have RSS, I guess LS1Tech is pretty far out front to have it too.

yea Kevin, when are we upgrading this board? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) it's $185 for perpetual licence, i bet we could all drop in 5 bux and be done in notime. i did some experiements with importing old setups into new code and it's very painless.
the new one would probably have RSS built in...oh wait, it does:

Sharing & Application Integration

* XML archiving
* Skin & language export & import
* Export topics to Word/HTML
* Export personal messages
* RSS topic feed
* Lo-fi version for printing/alternative devices

this way i could read my frrax on my fone, we could include it on toolbars (firefox has great 'live bookmarks' feature) and many other cool things. RSS is a good thing, trust me.

Soon, I guess. Lets work out the details and maybe we can get it done in the next month or so.
