Yep, all 8 chemos done. She got all antsy and had the port taken out already too!
This is her second week of radiation. She's driving about 60 miles round trip after teaching each day. No party for the end of chemo, she's holding out for a big to-do when it's all done. Her birthday is later this month, but she's requested we not celebrate it until March 17, her last chemo day so she can start off age 30 with a clean slate. |

She still has some blisters from the radiation burn, but she's just excited to be done. She's even going to resume autocrossing with me later in the spring. Now it's all about getting back in shape physically (stamina etc) and getting the hair back. She's got a nice crew cut look right now with the hair just starting to grow back. She's even done a couple things in public with no scarf or wig in the last week. Time to move on! |
