when it sucks a bird out of the air! On the way to an autocross this morning, I hit a dove on the highway. At first I thought I cleared it, because there was no thump, but I did see some feathers floating in the rear view mirror. When I arrived, people were staring and pointing at the nose, and I found the dead dove firmly wedged into the grill (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) . The air cleaner was full of feathers. Bleh!

Norm from Head on Photos has a great shot of a car, think it was a Ferrari, sucking up a bird at Thunderhill. Usually at Thunderhill we have pheasants who like to walk the track at wrong times! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) That's hillarious. I remember seing some pictures of someone with a firebird that had a bird stuck dead inside the foglight hole in the front of the car. I thing he was running the One Lap of America when the two birds had the unfortunate crossing. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I guess you can say is a Bird eat Bird world out there! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I had a similar experience with my Trans Am. I cought a Dunkin Donuts coffee cup in the fog light hole, it was a perfect shot with the bottom of the cup up against the light. At least it was easy to clean up!
