I found out from talking to an fbody friend that one of our own in Topeka needs a torque arm for an ESP car shipped SATURDAY (Today) to topeka kansas to his hotel.

if anybody has one sitting in a box that they can run down to UPS store, please let me know and I'll get it touch with our friend. I'm not disclosing anybody's identity for obvious reasons, but let me know if you have a factory OR aftermarket torque arm for a 4th Gen Fbody that you can SHIP TODAY.

if you can help, you can call my cellphone too. 404-432-2654

WOW, that was fast....

already have a reply and have the topeka person getting ready to call for shipping in the morning. A couple of things you should know about this that I didn't make clear in my first post.

1) it is for competition, not a protest
2) it is somebody that you might know if you frequent this board, he is one of "us".

Thanks for the PM's -- we'll get him back out there with the REMOTE PIT CREW.

Maybe I'm just being thick, or believe too naively in sportsmanship, but the reason for keeping it a secret (especially for "one of our own") is not obvious to me.

Oh well, good luck to whoever it may be! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Sean,

I've disclosed a few small things before and got my ass chewed out for it. Really more precautionary than anything. When Mark Andy called me at midnight to tell me that he had one, ready to ship -- and so i told him the info.

I am being cautious because some people are funny sometimes about competition. Maybe they don't want to tip their hand to the boys, or maybe they just like to mind their own business -- especially since I haven't spoken directly with the person needing the part, all my work is second hand thru another frrax member.

Sorry, I'm just respecting people's business as their own until they tell me otherwise. Just a personal policy out of respect.

No worries, just hoping for the best for whoever it is.

I dunno about any of this stuff, but I _did_ ship a stock torque arm to Phil K. today...

:-)

Mark

(Phil can get pissed at me if he wants to, leave Brian out of it :-)

Phil ended up driving the RDNK4RE today. Picked up just enough time to put the Mustang in last place! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif)

Thanks but I'm going pass on the SLP TA. I want a Random Tech from Sam, but I have to catch up at work so I can have time to call him.
