$350 7.5" Blaine Fab spoiler (I don't even have this yet). Fits 4th gen Camaro bodies. I think Alan is still in the process on the spoilers, so you could probably switch yours to a 3rd gen ... or tell him to hold your hunk of lexan until you know for sure if you're keeping the '02 or not. Just a thought. Lexan is finished on all the spoilers, I have some work to do on brackets when I get back from PRI show. I do have uncommitted Lexan left, tho, so Kevin if you wanted to change to 3rd gen I could do that, and keep the 4th gen for stock. Thanks Alan. In that case, hold up on mine and let me see what happens. I might have you send me a 3rd gen version instead (if/when I get this worked out). |

Whats the lowering distance on the Koni's? I just installed LG Super Springs with Hotchkis. Give me your opinon on whether the Koni's would be better handling?

Matt The Koni/H&R setup has the front of my car at 26.5" to the top of the fender opening. Shown here (the rear springs in this pic have been changed, but the fronts are the same as I have listed). This pic is of my car, but it's taken from the "ride height after lowering springs" thread on LS1tech. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v617/skewba9z28/HR.jpg |

$575 front Koni DA's with H&R 600 in lb springs and perches/mounts (assembled, ready to drop in) $55 SLP "lid" (with hose and elbow for 2001-2002 vehicles) $20 K&N air filter (with partial recharger kit) $70 U-haul hitch with "gooseneck" and ball (I might keep this for the next car, but not sure yet). $75 2001 Helm service manuals As long as I know of the thirdgen you're talking about, I'd be interested in this stuff. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (Although just the front shocks as long as they aren't rigged for non-OEM springs/ride height, i.e. I can use them for F Stock on a plain-jane '01 Z28.) You do know the car.
The shocks are dead stock. I had my rears shortened, but not the fronts. They were installed as they came from Koni. |

If you want, Trackbird, we can meet half-way and trade the swaybar for the driveshaft. Let me know if this makes sense...

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/whip.gif) I'm trying to work it out where I don't have to strip the current car to buy the new one. If that fails, I'll be tearing this one down and dumping parts to finance the new project. What I need is someone who wants to buy a set of Wilwoods..... I'm hoping to have a better grasp on things after the holidays. Still trying to decide if I want to part the car or just use cash (and which I can get away with).

I'll know by then.
I'm going truck shopping tomorrow. If I buy a new truck/tow vehicle/driver, then this one is getting stripped and I'm going to buy that 3rd gen. There's a good chance that I'm buying that third gen even if I don't buy a truck, but if I buy a truck, it's much closer to a sure thing that the 2002 is leaving and being replaced. A stock driveshaft showed up today, and I have other parts headed to my place as well at this time. Don't come to Hilliard without getting with me. I'm only about 10 minutes south of Hilliard, if that. |

Just looking for an update. Is this still pending? Thanks John. John, What year is your car? I'd need your stock throttle body back to use. Or, I can get one, but I'd probably have to pay $50 for the core (I priced that TB to give credit for the fact that I need it exchanged). |

Hey Kevin, Are all the things on the list still available? I'm interested in the front swaybar. I would buy a big part of your setup (Brakes, TB, Upper arms, Sway bar) but my monthly income was shrunk by a third so I'm now counting pennies. :'(
