Or well.....gets restarted. Finally got the race car moved over to the shop on sunday to start work on it now that the divorce is final.

Items sitting in it waiting to be installed:

-ESS 5lb fire system
-Big Stuff 3 management system
-Fluidyne diff cooler w/ tilton pump
-Fluidyne trans cooler w/ tilton pump
-Conversion to front breather
-Blaine Fab ORR spoiler
-Rear Diffussor

Items enroute:
Accusump
ARE 3 stage dry sump

Also going to try and put the car on a pretty big diet. Anywhere that I can I will be taking weight out of the car. I would like to see the car under 3500lbs. But with the size of the cage I have, its going to be tough. I am thinking of going to the Blaine fab CF TTop inserts and have a thin CF pin on hood done. That right there should shave alot of weight out. I still need to remove the beams inside the doors since the cage now takes care of the side impact.

Anyways, Just an update.

You know, I kept hearing that kind of sentiment.

But a 4th gen can get below 3000lbs, dry and in CMC trim, pretty easily.

CMC #8 Glenn and I built is 3240 with a 200lb driver, 3/4 tank of fuel, 10lb fire system, cool suit set-up, subframe connectors and a substantial 6 point cage.

ORR cars tend to have a lot of extra stuff - side windows, navigator/seat/net, nav gear, cooler and sometimes luggage in trunk. Aero stuff tends to be overbuilt, Lexan thicker, etc.

Boyce - I have a CF LS1 Camaro hood mold in process now.

Z28 style? Any ideas on what the damage will be?

Yes, LS1 Z28. Non SS. Same price as the LT1 model, as long as carbon prices hold:
