Next events coming up in the EAST. Looking to go to atleast one of these and spend some time looking around and talking to everybody.

Anybody have an opinion on the differences between the two and the quality of the event?

I have never been to Putnum but have been to Beaver Run for about 10 or so track days total. I found that any track is good with the right company. My only complaints about Beaver Run is that there is literally no shelter should the weather turn crappy and the grass still hadn't grown much (as of last year) causing lots of dust in the dry and a mudhole when it rains...

Anyway enough of the negative...

How far from Beaver Run are you? There are lots of opportunities to run the track beyond just NASA. ...they often host their own track dates. Last year, they would decide a few days in advance to open the track and send out e-mails to a group of people (me included). When I get those e-mails, I will post 'em here.

Sorry, I have no knowledge about Putnum and I unfortunately can't make it in May.

Actaully I am right in the middle of the two. I bought my 94 z28 from Greenecastle, Indiana just the other month and never new their was a track right by there!! I think it took me 2 to 2 1/2 hours. The one in Pen. wouldnt be a bad drive either. But Mid-ohio is defiantely the closest at about 1:45 drive time for me.

Too bad I missed Nashville. Thats a fun drive even though its a bit longer. I am planning on attending Beaverun in June I believe.

But yeah, if you hear anything through an email definately let me know. I would be a bit hesitant on stock brakes and suspension but I have to start somewhere!
