Well after the run today at TWS, the coil over suspension is going to be put on hold. My ls1 (heads/cam/intake) decided it had enough of the 6800rpm rev limiter when it popped crossing the start/finish line at TWS. It let loose at 6500rpm @145ish mph and I had just clicked off a 1:58:XX and boom, left the front straight in a pile of smoke. don't mind the commentary of the video, it was shot by a couple friends in an 03 cobra that were behind me (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

They stopped because he had a fire bottle and my car was (we thought) on fire. There was alot of smoke. They just pulled up next to me and popped the bottle out. Lots of pics coming. Pistons definitely gone, most were in the intake... William |
