Well, I did it!
I switched my home page to FRRAX.com.
LS1.com is just a shadow of its former self.
Seems lots of knowledgeable and experienced people have made the move over here to FRRAX.....
So much to read, so little time

FRRAX is now my home page also. I am still loyal to cz8.com as they have always treated me well and there is still “life” in the board . Last month I began to get the feeling at LS1.com that as a simple member, I was the very lowest priority in their thinking. I wish them well, but this is a hobby, something I do for FUN. I don’t want negative feelings in my fun time, and I don’t enjoy seeing friends being mistreated.

I will be at a trade show in Las Vegas until next Monday night. I’ll check in when I get back.

I've been associated with LS1.com for a helluva long time.
Was a mod over there for almost 4 years, off and on.

It's tough to let go of something that is so a part of one's life.

I know that sounds rather wacky, but even at simple levels of my involvement in a project, I tend to take a lot of ownership. Sometimes that is a good thing ... sometimes not.

Realistically, I know in my heart of hearts that those of us who decided to spend the majority of our time here, as opposed to the LS1.com AX/RR forum will probably never be missed. Pat and I PM back and forth on occasion. Eugenio is a very nice guy, but is as much of a cheerleader as I was, just for a different camp.

It certainly seems that in very short order, that forum has become a ghost town. And similar goings on that prompted the exodus of us, has taken place in a couple of regional sections as well. I really don't understand the animosity that has been created.

But then again, I don't understand all I know, either.

Maybe I did lose track of time, but if you don't mind what are you talking about?

Just not sure how that board fell apart so fast. Was it the editing and the banning of members that caused the whole thing?

FWIW I was REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, sick of all the damn board down time. Was it huge relatively speaking? Of course not. Was it huge compared to other board's down time? Hmm let me think...YES!!

I didn't like that my posts were edited, but to be honest, I was going to go back through and edit my own posts. Just "big brother" beat me to it....

If anyone feels I'm bringing up issues that should be forgotten and not talked about on this board thats fine. Your probably right. I'll empty my PM box. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
