As the title says, if somebody has a set, first or second design, I'm looking for a set. Thanks. John

What are you willing to pay for a set? (Unused)

It is rather amusing isn't it? But before I heard back from you (Guardsman) I was contacted by someone else and I am currently deciding if I want to part with them or not........I have a second set on the way (as back ups) so I just have to decide if I wanna keep those or hope the first set doesn't get destroyed/damaged or worse, I get an additional 4th Gen (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Rottluver, if I remember correctly, they were selling for around $200 originally, so right around there. John

Another new set is available on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=42605
Rottluver bought a set from each of my last 2 group purchases at Speed Specialty, and also posted earlier in this thread.

Baer GT+ set, complete, is still available. Larger rotor than C5 sets and that = greater leverage. C5 PBR calipers, pads, braided hoses, all hardware.

Guys/gals,

I put mine up on eBay as my plans to get a 2nd 4th Gen have been shelved. I don't see a need to keep these when someone else could benefit from these awesome pieces. I am NOT looking to make money on them, just want to sell them for what I have in em. But, I have been contacted by so many people that I felt the only fair way to do this was on eBay so everyone could have a shot.

FYI, Guardsman, the latest set were $299 for the pair.........I only wish they had been $200 LOL

BTW, Bob, THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH for recommending Dick Guldstrand to me. I have been to his shop and he is an amazing person and has an extremely knowledgable crew working for him. I feel completely safe leaving my "baby" in his capable hands to do this install. I really appreciate the info.

Just curious, but what does it cost to get parts to outfit Bob's brackets:

calipers
rotors
pads
and SS hoses ?

$500 on top of the brackets?

Hijack king here ....

Myself and several others who frequent this board were working a Lone Star Corvette Club event at Texas Motorspeedway las spring.

Dick and some others folks get in some "guest" Z06s and begin tearing up the road course. these guys were hauling butt.

When it was over, this old man climbs out of one with a huge grin on his face and proudly proclaims .... "I still got it."

I asked someone who that was.

"That's Dick Guldstrand ... "

OK ... hostages, you are free to go now ....
