Friends,
I am installing an external battery shut off switch. Do any of you guys have something like this installed?

http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/moroso_...nnect_switches/

I am trying to find the best place to install it for my 87 IROC so that corner workers could find it easily in an emergency AND for convience for me as well. I thought about putting it on the drivers side B pillar, but I don't know if that is the best place. Where have you installed this on a dedicated race car?

Thoughts?

Driver side A Pillar worked well for me. Convenient for driver and any worker.

Sorry, I looked but couldn't find any. It was installed on the Roll Cage tube that followed the A pillar. I seem to recall it wad held in place w/two clamps of some sort. I don't know whether you noticed the limitations as to the switch you posted. No alt use only. Seems it may not fly for you.

Try this one:

If I find a pic I'll send it.

I think the best bet is the driver's side A pilar flanged to the cage.
Emergency cutoff sticker very close by on the body.
I use a Moroso switch bought from Summit, no problems at all
