There is a small convenience station/service station/towing/salvage yard in the sticks near my in-laws.

Well I spotted a V6 Camaro that had rolled setting there and stopped for some parts. I pulled a hub an underdash panel and a brake line (the brake line was the big find becuase I NEEDed it)

Anyhow I bought an SLP CAI off it for $5. Cleaned it up and sold it for $75. It also has drilled rotors which I'm going to pick up this week, and Hotchkiss lowering springs. And I 'think' a 32mm front bar. I might pick up that other stuff to sell also......

Just thought it was cool to make $70 for 5 minutes of work.

I do it all the time, it's the only way I can afford to build a car.

Bought mint GTA wheels with tires for $200, dismounted the tires, sold the wheels for $350 on ebay to a fairly local guy and the tires for $100 local.

Bought a 2002 SS rear end w/o brakes, driveshaft, and torque arm last weekend for $200. Selling the rear end for $160 so it was a cheap way to pick up a driveshaft and a non-rusty torque arm.

Bought a carb nitrous kit complete with purge for $60, sold it for $160 without the purge.

Those are the biggest ones, but everything helps.

A couple of years ago at the Autofair in Charlotte, I saw a guy selling some NOS Chevy Vega heads and a Hooker header. On the last day of the show, he had dropped the price for the heads to 5.00 each, and 20.00 for the header. I bought it all, sold the heads for 145.00 each, and the header for 120.00. I haven't been that lucky since, but that was sweet!
