I guess since they ran the trucks yesterday at KC and the cars at night around Daytona, they need the 'filler' events. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
Since I already know the outcome, the Speed GT race at Lime Rock is going to be awesome. |

Damn, makes me mad that we didn't run cable out to the garage yet!
Just saw the end of the Trans Am race while eating. |

Yeah...pretty cool. I watched the Trans-Am race, am watching the Speed TC, and will copying the Speed GT race to the hard drive. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Went to cheer Lou on Saturday. Oil on track put him back around 8th, too bad. I was so happy to see him on the pole.
Touring Car race is always exciting. Auberlen wins again at Lime Rock, woop dee doo. (Why don't I like this great, skilled driver?) One of my highlights is hearing the P2 Mazda. You could hear it coming from a half a track away! I didn't realize the track is so bumpy until I see the race on tv, damn. Here's some pictures. Using the slideshow will show bigger pictures. Aria |

Yeah, I was there for the ALMS race and the SCCA race on Monday. All I can say is that Mazda was LOUD and annoying after a while! The C6R's were awesome, but not as much as the Pirelli girls! My buddy Jonathan was running in the ITS race and had some problems with his V710's, in both practice and race and I was very happy to see Kumho give him a new set for free. They also gave us all stickers and t-shirts.
Also saw a silver and a blue C6 Z06! The S65 AMG that passed me on the Taconic was also pretty cool. Nice to know that the first driver in the "Flying Lizard" GT3 Cup car was running about the same times I do with my Z28! Then the 2nd driver started running about 6 seconds quicker a lap! |

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) A buddy of mine was gonna get a ride in a prototype last year at ALMS at Laguna....granted he is a good driver, but NOWHERE near a "proven" comodity you would EXPECT to see in ALMS.....he was all set to go and the "money man" backed out at the last minute....and he no racy.....
