I want to get some Carbontech XP8s, and wounder if any of you guys have some old Porsche pads laying around that you can discard and help me out.
Carbontech needs it so they can build me a pad.

Wanna go w/ a
FRONT: CARBOTECH PANTHER XP8 (1108) on Porsche brakes.
REAR: CARBOTECH PANTHER PLUS (1106) on stock f-body brakes.

Thanks.

I think I have some but I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow. Send me an e-mail: ibjamin@wi.rr.com and I can see about sending them off when I get back.

Would a template traced onto a piece of paper be of help?

I think that could do it... as long as the paper doesnt' get massacred in shipping, some kind of cardboard would be great, imho.
I can ask the guys @ Carbothech and let you know.

Steve, would you by any chance know the FMSI pad number ?
or any Porsche model/year that uses the caliper I have ?
Is it 1997 911 Turbo ?

Thanks George for shipping the back-plates for me (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
will paypal you the shipping this week.
I'm getting:
front: CARBOTECH PANTHER XP10 (1110)
rear: CARBOTECH PANTHER XP8 (1108)

The only hick is that if he doesn't have a commercial backing plate, I might have to order 10 sets of front pads... at least I won't run out of them... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)
I was thinking 2 sets, at least.... but 10 might hit the budget hard.
