Spent the afternoon watching the Irish beat on the Vols' of TN

I sure hope that after UCLA's pounding they take out frustrations on USC.

I long for the day of Penn State and Notre Dame in the National championship game.....finally both schoold are turning things around.

'Bama beat Mississippi State, but not with their offense. However, the Tide may still go to #3 since Miami beat VT and both teams have a loss.

And yes, UCLA should go after USC. Just my .2c.... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Buckeyes? Hell the entire big ten cept' for Indiana could and probably should be in a bowl.

I was really hoping that the undefeated teams stayed that way till the end. That way there would be some more stirring of the pot w/all the playoffs talk.

I think my Irish could beat any team in the country right now except Texas. But they'll never get the chance.

The Irish are good but not that good. Had it not been for UT's stupid mistakes (which they're made all year) it would have been MUCH closer.

ACC fan here. Goofiest football conference of all. UVA beats FSU, gets beaten by UNC, BC beats UVA, gets beaten by UNC, VA Tech gets smoked by Miami, FSU is beaten by NC State. But I sure wanted the Irish to take out USC. A Notre Dame vs. Texas National Championship game? I would love to see it. Or 'Bama vs Texas. Or USC vs Texas. Because it sure looks like Texas is going to be there.

I knew that'd get ya steve (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I've been wathcing ND all year, and I think that if they show up mentally Charlie will have them beating ANYONE but Texas.

If I were USC I'd not want to play them again either.

The ND defense is a little lacking, but the offence is probably one of if not THE best in football. Texas scoring 62 on Baylor and USC scoring 50 on Washington just doesn't impress me to much.

I really feel bad for Phillip Pullmer. He's got the best defense there is, and one of the worst offenses. And most offensive woes are from a complete lack of execution/effort

The best thing they could have done was get rid of their offensive (more ways then one) coordinator, Randy Sanders. I've thought for years that he should go. He's always been too predictable and conservative.

If anybody watched the Gators game on ESPN2, I was right behind Cornelius when he caught the game winning TD. I'm told you could see me jumping, cheering and acting generally like an idiot on TV! I couldn't have asked for anything better. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

As an Illinois resident, I'm glad you think so highly of the Illini, but I don't think anyone in this state believes they're bowl-worthy. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
