i have a currie bolt in 9" rear end with lca relocation brackets welded on,third gen rear discs, and a nodular iorn third member. it does not have a differental, ring and pinion, or brake lines $750 pickup only in north dallas texas
i also have a complete 86 trans am body with a clean texas title, it does not have any interior, drivetrain or suspension, it is in eccelent condition with absolutely no rust and about 2 door dings. i bought it running and was going to race american iorn so i stripped it down and now i am trying to buy a house and finishing my track day impala for entertainment so it will be neglected for a few years before i would do anything with it. i would like to get $1000 for it or $1500 for both.

Can you send me some pics of the Currie?

What part of Dallas are you in? I've got family in the Plano / McKinney area.

thx.

Thanks Homer.

I'm not real familiar with 9" rear ends, so I need to see what parts you are talking about.

Am I correct that dimensionally it is identical to a stock 3rd gen rear? I have Spohn TA that should work with a 9", so it should be a virtual "bolt in"?

this just bolts in place of the stock rear, it is the same width as the third gen rear and has torque arm mounts all you would need to do is add brake lines, and a third member which is the center section that holds the diff and gears, it just bolts in and the axles slide into it

Sounds like what I need. Are the axles included? Is this a new piece, or used?

I'd still like to see some pics, if you can get them.

thx.

Thanks Homer - that's what I expected to see.

Stupid question - how does the TA mount? Those mounting tabs look parallel to the ground, whereas a stock TA's bolt go in perpendicular.

I looked it up on the Currie website, so I now know what it looks like.

Let me talk to my sister and her husband. If I can talk them into picking it up and taking it to the freight terminal for me, you can consider it sold.

thx.
