I'm looking for a good set of front brake pads in a racing compound that will get through a race at Mid-O (19 Laps).

2002 Camaro LS1 Calipers

Somewhere between 1/2 - New all considered. HT-10, Carbo, Cobalt, Perf Friction 01+, etc...

Let me know what you have. ERV5@Chrysler.com

Thanks!
ERIC

I've got a smorgasboard of front pads at home. I think I have LS1 pads, and some pads for Baer Claw brakes (are they the same? I can't recall). I'll have to look at the stockpile tonight or tomorrow. What's your timeframe for getting the pads?

I seem to remember the Baer setup using C4/Cobra style pads with the two big circular clips on the back to hold the pads in.

Baer was the C4 style caliper not the same as an LS1 pad. Thanks for checking in. As for timing... the event is on Oct 6-7th

Thanks!

Definitely had the big round clips on the back. After changing the pads on the C5 brakes at Mid-Ohio a couple of weeks back I'm really glad we got rid of the Baer brakes and went the trackbracket / C5 route.

Back to pads: I think we got a set of LS1 pads by mistake at some point. I've got a note to self to check the stack tonight.

We have a set of 4, never used, HAWK HB249U.575 DTC-70 pads.

Jason can take pics and post if you want.

I can ship them tomorrow, whatever service you want (we are 93110 zip) and I'd appreciate covering the cost of shipping and whatever $ you want to pay for the pads. I ordered these by mistake, and they are doing nothing for me but taking up space on a shelf in the garage.

Let us know,
Christine
