Looking to purchase 1998 F-body Front Calipers.
Base model (V-6, RS, 12" Z-28) calipers is what I am looking for. Thank you. |

I've got a set, but one piston needs put back in one of the calipers (and I have to find them in the garage, it's a bit messy right now).

Have you tried the local parts store? Remans are pretty cheap; I think I paid $45 a piece or so for mine.
Edit: if you are swapping these onto an LT1 car, you just might be able to return your old single pistons as cores and no one would be the wiser... This post has been edited by Mojave: Nov 19 2007, 08:41 PM |

Actually, I'll be putting them on the 83 Z-28 Camaro. The base F-body rotor size is 12" x 1.25" and a friend of mine let me trace the brackets I'll need.
I will have to fiqure out the spacing, I might try to use the Wilwood Hubs that are all ready installed on the Car. I was going to just install the 1LE calipers and rotors on, but with the "relalitively" inexpensive upgrade, I might give a shot at seeing if I can get them sorted while I have the car on jackstands. |
