1998 C5 Coupe trackday/HPDE/TT/race car $14k or best offer.
I could knock off $1000 by keeping the CCW's and replacing with 17x9 10 spoke camaro SS wheels with almost new nitto RII's. Modifications * DRM coilovers (450 lbs. front springs, 600 rear). * T1 swaybars w/ heim-joint endlinks and poly bar bushings * DRM 4-point chassis bar (they can't call it a rollbar) welded in * DRM brake cooling ducts. * Full interior, customized to accept rollbar * Corbeau Forza (wide version, vinyl) racing seats w/ G-force 5-pt camlock harnesses * Hardbar Derlin shift knob (stock shifter) * Cat-less x-pipe *Z06 titanium cat-back * K&N CAI w/ MAF screen removed * Sparco racing wheel with quick release hub * Airbag delete * SS caliper pistons w/ SS brake lines * PFC 99 front pads, hawk HP+ rear *Z06 steering rack and PS cooler *TPIS oil cooler *DRM steering rack bushing *CCW classics (18x10, 18x11.5) with toyo r888’s. 295/30/18 front (brand new), 315/30/18 rear. *recently Dyno’d at 311 rwhp at 335 torque. http://209.177.55.37/images/c5images/c5dyno_06-04-2009.jpg *Aligned (-1.8 front and rear is -1.25), and corner balanced (50.27% cross) http://209.177.55.37/images/c5images/c5corner_06-04-2009.jpg *Hurst shifter *New Luk Pro Gold clutch & pressure plate, aluminum flywheel, new slave cylinder, rubber guibo bushings on the driveshaft, remote bleeder valve. Shifts nicely with no issues. *Poly bushings on all front control arms - brand new. *Rear phoenix performance tow hook. *Elite Performance Frame protectors and Catch can. *AC system fixed by dealership; new compressor. I bought the car in March of this year to use as a track rat. It has performed very well and I daily drive it too. My best time at local road course is 2:41 and for reference, a regional T1 car has gone 2:39. Keep in mind his car has hoosiers versus my r888’s, which in itself could be the 2 second difference. That Z06 weighs less and has 55 hp more (approx). Reason for putting it up for sale is to get a closer to stock Z so I can autocross in SS class again. Car is perfect as a track car because it isn’t a show queen. 120k miles on the car. Drivers mirror is epoxied into place. Full interior with working HVAC and stereo and power door locks and windows. Car was crashed before I bought it but there is no frame issues; handles like a dream and is very neutral, with a slight mid-corner push. Very easy to drive at the limit.
