I'm thinking that if I flare the rear and go with a 335 rear tire, that the Vette Grand Sport flares may give me a good working start as opposed to having one offs made and molded in/painted.

Anyone know of a source for these?

Try this guy:
Jim Norman - parts@jenningschevrolet.com

He has gotten me some Grand Sport Corvette emblems.

I have tried to contact MAIER racing on flares by e-mail. I got no response. If you can get a response I would be interested.

I called Maeir racing just now.

Those flares are rear flares off an early model Mustang (65 vintage). They are really close but you will have to trim them up and fit them.

They are $259 for a set of two, and they come with "inner flaps" to create a wider inner fender.

Not what I'm after, but these are not that expensive. Someone could use them I would think.
