Hi all,
in order to test a problem I am having with my brakes, I want a set of USED REAR PADs for a 4th Gen (98-02). Pads can be any brand, but must be worn down at least half way or more, and in OK condition. They must be worn evenly and squarely, no tapered pads.

Please let me know what you have, and I will Paypal you some money to ship them. Send me a picture if you can to chrispav -at- ptd.net but pix are not necessary.

Thanks,
Chris

FWIW, I am trying to see if having a set of new pads is limiting my caliper's play, and not allowing the caliper to float far enough when the axle moves in and out. And I got rid of my old pads already. See my post on "shim axle, too much end play".

You can always square off a set of pads by rubbing them on concrete. Just stay out of th edust, it might be bad for you...
they grind down pretty quick

I suppose I could ship you my spares...pm me your info.

FWIW - My long pedal doesn't seem to change no matter what my pad condition is. Left foot tap every straight for the last 10 races seems to work the best.
