I have decided to enter the 3rd Gen for this two day event which will be on the countries fastest circuit. This will be the first time I have raced back with this club in this car since I sorted the rear axle and handling out a lot so I am hoping to be a bit more on the pace although I won't get near the faster M3's ad Seirra Cosworths but they will be in a different class. Last time at this circuit she was handling so bad I had an off at over 100mph on the fastest part of the circuit so here's hoping not for a repeat and the engine doesnt destroy itself like the 2nd gen did last time out or thats me out for the year!

Not a bad meeting, I had a good dice in the first race with 3 BMW E30's after failing to qualify and starting at the back of the grid due to an electrical problem but the tyres began to fade towards the end and after a couple of bum clenching moments and the ckutch master cylinder failing and me fading in the unusual 30 degree heat I backed off a bit.
Race 2 unfortunately the electrical problem came back and turned out to be the pesky FIA cutout switch and after fiddling with it to get it going it suddenly cut out mid bend causing me to spin out and I failed to restart, Videos below. Incidentally the guy driving the black Jag XJS is my good pal Cliff Ryan who also races ver your side of the pond in his 64 Historic Mustang some of you guys may know him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ1yrWFSkec http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G1usbNHNUo |

Nice vids!
As a former owner 330PS AWD Cossie , there is not much that can hang with it much less pass it . I am still in awe with RS 500 Cossies, these are such beasts. |

Thanks. They are indeed beasts however in that particular championship they don't allow the RS500 or use of the Group A gearbox plus the Cossies have to run a 36mm inlet restrictor which they are currently moaning about (I think they have a point to be honest) as they are finding it tough against the BMW E36 model.
