So a solid ST 35 mm versus a "stock GM" 36 mm hollow

I believe a 36mm calculated out to be roughly a 33.25mm solid bar (from memory from an old thread here). So, the 35mm is going to be stiffer.

I believe a 36mm calculated out to be roughly a 33.25mm solid bar (from memory from an old thread here). So, the 35mm is going to be stiffer. I just completed these calcs. A 35 solid is 17% stiffer than a 36mm hollow. A 36mm hollow is equal in stiffness to a 33.75 mm solid. |
