Header for an E36 BMW.

Personally I think it looks great. Yes, its probably more complicated than it needs to be but I'm sure all the primarys are nice and long with equal lengths (else why bother).

I know that I've heard (somewhere) something about how every 90* bend in exhaust pipe, because it causes the exhaust to slow down and lose velocity, costs a specific amount of HP (I think that I heard something like 5 hp, but I'm sure that was car/engine specific). I wonder how much HP all those bends cost vs. some nice, straight pipes?

i would love to see before and after dyno results on that set-up... that header probably cost 1500-2500 bucks, and it would just be entertaining for me to see some tears after only getting a minor horsepower gain
