My New Z06

It's good to be a gangster....

They are practically giving them away....

GM Supplier discount = $6,000 off
GM Rebate $3,000 or 0% - 0% is better
GM Owner Loyalty Bonus: GM makes the first two car payments ($1600 or so)

So Sammy, I guess I need one of those 32mm front bars!

Now I just need a co-driver with a truck & trailer and tire $ or someone to transport tires & tools

I think I need to start moonlighting too lol.

Wow, are the payments really $800 a month? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Nice car though. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)

Yeah, but I only pay $350 a month for a 2 bedroom apt, so it all evens out. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I was kicking myself in the butt for not taking out a bigger loan on the SS with the 2.9% interest rate (being equal to inflation and all) and I'm not going to make the same mistake twice...especially not at 0%

Does $700 sound too much for Z06 take-off rims?
Does anyone know how the tire pressure sensors work? I want to be able to take advantage of them while autocrossing. (if I can)

Thanks for the info. I test drove a C5 Convertable, so I was unaware the Z06 did not come with them. I will have to negotiate with the dealer to have him turn the system on with the tech 2 and get a couple of sets of sensors. I can understand why they disabled the system - b/c we do often switch rims to run on race tires. I could always wait to get the mod done...but then I'd probably rather have Hoosiers than $500 of sensors.

Nice toy. I've been considering one of those myself (I just can't bring myself to do it). I hope this doesn't mean you want a corvette forum..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)

You'll have to pry my f-body out of my cold dead hands. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
Although it probably won't see the road next year - I already got 25,000 miles on it. Not even broken in, but I want to keep the value of the car up seeing as how it was a limited production vehicle.

Congrats, you'll love it. On a similar note, I had a really hard time passing up a deal I saw in Dallas over the weekend. I was checking out the new C6 at Reliable in Richardson, and they had two Collector's Edition Z06s for $11K off MSRP sitting on the floor. If I wasn't looking at buying into a business right now, I probably would have jumped on one of them.

Thanks Mark, I def. was drooling over the Z06's. Ever since I saw one run last year (and got to ride in it during fun runs) I knew I had to have one. I sold my 4x4 blazer and bought a beater and paid off the SS.

And no Dan, you know I have a problem with Hondas beating my bowtie(s).

I do feel a little sad that it will mean one less f-body at an AutoX. But it'll be nice bringing a gun to a gun fight instead of a knife (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

BTW it is official, I signed the papers today. Now I just need to finish cleaning out my parent's garage so I have a place to store the SS.
