... and the Petit Le Mans.

A fair amount attrition within the Speed World Challenge ranks on the first day of practice.

LG damaged an engine.
Caddie had fuel issues.
Chip Herr lost 2nd gear somewhere, they're still looking for it.
A priveteer BMW (TC) met the tire wall, hard.
A couple other cars went back into their respected transporters.

... and our team had a bad vibration in the driveline. Turned out to be a bearing in the torque tube. Pulled the entire rear suspension/trans and replaced it, but couldn't make the second practice.

Getting ready to head out for day two of practice, Thursday is Qualifying and racing is Friday.

Johnny O'Connell will be driving the 'guest' CTS/V this week. He's still a Corvette guy at heart. He came over and chatted the other day.

Well, the week is over and I won't give away the ending, but it was an (almost) all GM podium.

A couple of tense moments, nobody hurt, clean blocking and good racing.

Our season is over, as we're not going to the 'Left' coast for the last race at Laguna.

It's on tomorrow at 1 EST.

Here's THE LINK to what pictures I could get. I got plenty of in car, I just need to transfer and edit it.

NICE drive Lou! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)

Man....havin' some problems in the engine department eh? Couple of overheats and keeping Phil behind ya with a sick motor for a lap! :drive:

Course the smoke screen helped a bit. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Great job!

Randy
