Seriously. I'm tired of the games like "if you get me 10 folks I'll give you this for that price". Frankly, I don't want to guess. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You guys get together and figure out what kind of things you'd like to see on sale, and I'll see what I can do. Remember I don't do EVERYTHING, but have almost EVERYTHING. If I can't do it, I'll tell you. But if you think of something run it by me and we'll see. There are times when it does not pay to carry a line for a rare sale, but if there is enough interest in something I don't have, I'll try and find it for you all.

Obviously bigger things have more opprotunity for discounts. Something with a tiny profit margin isn't gonig to get a big sale price. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Like I said, come up with something. Here are some idea's I had, feel free to add your own:

Autopower roll-bars
My Hollow bar sets (sorry only sets)
Race seats (Sparco, Kirkey, Cobra, Corbeau???)

Be creative. Let me try and help. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You do Autopower? Cool. That is high on my list.

GC rear jacks and spring sets (probably not enough in those, but it's a thought).

I'm a few weeks (or one T2R) from an autopower, but I do plan to gather one in the next few months (after the Torsen....I think).

I'm thinking Autopower roll bar (I think the thirdgen version is a different part number so it will probably suck to be me, as usual) or seats. If we do the seats I'll be interested in anyone's recomendation for a street/autocross set.

Although, a panhard bar relocation kit or torque arm would probably be more benificial to my times.

The bad thing about the roll bars is shipping. If you can find people near you to buy bars at the same time, you can ship them together and save quite a bit splitting the truck freight. I just went in with 3 other guys to get Autopower bars and we paid $40 each for shipping ($160 total California to Oklahoma).

Now that I have the bar, I need seats and harnesses. Fixed back Sparcos or Corbeaus.

I am also needing brakes (pads and rotors) and a clutch. Planning to do these things this winter, won't be ready to purchase until the end of the month.

I would also be interested in a roll bar for my thirdgen. My budget however would only allow this in February or March next year at the earliest. And if I need to I will drive 4-5 hours to save on shipping cost.

Neil, if shipping is $100, it is probably cheaper to stay home than to drive 4-5 hrs. But, maybe we can find a truck and go together (or I'll have my tire trailer for the Camaro by then).

Can you check a roll bar as a carry on bag for your flight?

I'd be interested in the entire GC (front and rear) setup as part of a group purchase.

What about GP on Brembo rotors? Could be either LS1, C5 or other cars as well. (I just got some Brembo rotors for my Maxima from Arlyn and they're great with Hawk HPS pads.)

Also, what about tourqe arms, control arms, etc.?

I converted over my whole car to a C5.... :drive: the way these z06 pads are dusting I don't know how long the pads will last. I'd probably be interested in a set ( or two of pads - they won't go bad ) as long as they work as good or better than the OEM Z06 pads. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

I really liked the low-dusting (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) feature of the EBC Greenstuffs, but I am not convinced the SS stopped any quicker. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif)

Brake Pads.

Does it matter to Sam's (eg Carbon Metallic) pad supplier whether the pads are of one compound or another? Does it matter to that supplier whether Sam requests seven boxes of pads for the front of LS1 or C5 brakes brakes; four boxes of 996TT pads or 10 boxes for the rear of LS1 or rear of LT1???

Couldn't a GP be setup where all agree to get (insert brand name here) and then give the specific compound and application.

I'd like pads for Rear LS1, and 996TT pads. I also need front & rear to fit my Late Model.

That's four sets right there.

Compound for agressive Streed/Track applications for the LS1/996 application. Race only for the Late Model/Wilwood calipers.

GP on seats...
I'm in as long as the seat is black leather and offers great support and has spot for 4-pt harness (belt)... ideally a 5-pt harness hole as well.

Well, we're kind of all over the place.

4 for Ground Controls
3 for Autopower bars
maybe 2 for a torque arm
4 for seats
4 for pads
1 for an Optima
2 for a shock setup
1 for a shock/spring combo.

The Autopower, seats, or pads are the most likely to happen. Ground Control is not for a variety of reasons, not the least of which my pricing from my supplier (very small margin as is) and the fact I want a GP to run smoothly, and GC doesn't lend themselves to that.

Pads: Willing to do something here, but there isn't much room at all on the street pads. Can and would be happy to do something on Race compounds (black, blue, HT10, etc.) but we need 10 sets total to make that happen.

Seats: Again, very much possible. Probably Corbeau, but we also have Cobra and Sparco (and I might be convinced to mix and match if there is enough interest). Need 6 seats to make this feasible.

That's where we are at this time. If you all can get together on an item or family of items and want them within a certain period of time, lets do it. Trouble is, it doesn't seem to be enough of a consensus to do anything yet. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Dear Santa,
This year I would like:
1. T2R + 3.73s with 'the install kit'.
2 Some sort of seat with a harness and whatever else is necessary would be nice, but that's farther down the road.

Don't need an Optima any longer, but thanks anyway ...

It appears that some sort of "package" for driver safety ...
suits, gloves, shoes, seat, belts, nets, fire supression would be a good thing.

Everyone should take the time to check their 5 point.
My Simpson set is 3 years old and starting to fray really bad at the lap buckle.

Ok, I'm going to do two things:

1. I'm putting seats on "sale" 7.5% off. You have your choice of either Corbeau or Sparco for those that want options. For example, that makes a $599 Sparco seat $554.07. It takes a $249 Corbeau to $230.32. We'll see if I get another threat from Corbeau about pricing. Since I'm only posting here and one other place it'll be quite easy to figure out who's bitching. 2. If I can get at least 7 people in, I can do something on the Canton Oil Pans. I don't care what they have or what they need (could be a Mustang (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) they get included. So tell your open track, road race, or drag friends. BTW, Canton does have an LS1 oil pan now as well. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'd be in on an Autopower GP. Might as well get it in the Camaro so I can make use of the Forza seats I bought for it a while back. While we're at it, maybe some harnesses too?

Also would probably be in on a T2R GP.

Count me in for a set of Konis. Does it count if they're going on a Fiero?

An Autopower GP would require 10 folks. I'm willing, but need people. You want to try and round them up, that's cool.

A T2R GP just isn't likely since there are very few vendors who have them, and there is no greater discount left that I can get. Basically it is what it is and the price of steel is going every higher. BTW, that's something to think about.... Every raw material is going up in price, it has already started to effect the product pricing (vendors charge more when if take more $$$ to build something).

Koni's..... not going to happen in the near future. There are not any front SA's left in the Country, and they have the smallest profit margins you can imagine. Think about it, Koni's sell all the time @ 5% *under* the jobber pricing, retail is $322 for a SA front which I sell for $225. It's a bad joke (jobber pricing used to be shop pricing a long time ago). (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Things like that are why we have to play pricing games. Nobody likes it, as in the end it hurts everyone (believe it or not, the customer too). If you can stay competitive on price and your customers know you can give them information that other can't, you stay in business. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would get in on a Corbeau Forza GP if it came early next year (Sometime after Christmas and before the national season starts).

I'm with Phil. I need the seats. But tis' the season to NOT buy things for myself.

I'm in late to this thread, but I'm also in the market for a GC set.

Maybe I should have thought of this BEFORE I ordered a case from you, but what about a GP on cases of Redline? Of course, if you want to wait a few months for that one I'd be grateful (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I doubt there is much of a profit margin on redline anwyays. Most everyone is about the same price.
