Most of them are from my first few track days last year, but some are from this year....none too recent though.---So, sorry if I may not be too fast or too smooth. I've gotten better over the last year....only to improve more next year I hope. Hopefully I'll get some more videos up when I have time over the winter.

The skidpad is fun! That was really my first track weekend and first time on the skidpad too. We only got about 3 or 4 minutes. I did much better this year when I had another chance at it. The thing with going with the BMW club is, he says "Nail the gas" in 2nd gear on a wet skidpad. 2nd gear in an LS1 is much different than 2nd gear in a lower HP/Torque BMW. Next time we did it in 3rd, which tames the car a bit, but it's still pretty torquey. "Blipping" is more appropriate.

yes I know what you are saying, My first time on a skid pad came in a FWD citation and it actually got .84dry. Next time was in my bird, .79wet and .90 dry.. What I have found is to be smooth, pick your speed up and keep it there. If I didnt screw up my wet it would of been even higher. All these reading above are a 2 lap average going clockwise then counter clockwise. But my car pushes to much for my liking.

You said its wet, That why it seemed to come around so easy. I cant remember what gear I had it in. I have to review the video tape to see if i was in 2 or 3. If I ever can get someone to put my video to a disc, you can see some really bad misshift on my part. Namely a upshifting 3 to 2 or a downshifting 5 to 1 is kinda funny.. Yes he was. All 300 lbs of him weighing my car down. That was my 1st time at WGI, which is now my favorite track. I was in the beginner group at the time.
