Those seats look OK.
However part of the reason I would be switching seats is to reduce weight. Just guessing but those are probably pretty heavy. From the weight savings standpoint the Forza is the best value. 16lbs and $220 |

If you're willing to be the guinney pig, I'll listen to what you have to say about them. I'm thinking they're going to be made in a sweat shop somewhere and not too well at that. Also those prices are for 1 seat... without the sliders. When you put them in your shopping cart you'll see they add the price of each slider to the seat as well as the other seat. The sliders go for $40 per seat so the Cobras are $220 each and the Matrixes are $200 each. Granted the corbeau sliders are more as well as the seats, but at least they have a name to them.
But yes, the shipping is the right price! Here is the link for those Hunsaker's from costco. http://www.hunsakersports.com/shop/categor...ory.asp?catid=3 |

I tried "ordering" some and it said minimum 2 (can't order just one), and the price was $437.90 with sliders (not custom brackets, just universal sliders). Secondly, I have seats like that from APC, V-Racing, 3A racing, Weapon R, TunerFX, and SPW Industries. Cheap seats like that are available all over the place. And they aren't "racing" seats at all. First, race seats never have a tilt mechanism that can break in an accident. That line is appealing to the "racer" inside. They are street seats, nothing more. And cheap ones at that. Flimsy in my experience too. I've sold a couple, and the customers seem happy, having never experienced a REAL seat. I'll stick with a name brand for my car though. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If you want a seat like that, let me know. And I'll sell you just one too!!!!! But I recommend sticking with a seat like Corbeau, Cobra or Sparco. MHO |
