sorry didnt know where else i could post this. anyway im trying to find a source for some battery foam. i have no idea what its officially called, but its basically the foam that is wrapped around car batteries. i know the C5 has it and i believe other cars have it. i don't want the precut stuff i need just a section of it to use elsewhere. supposedly this stuff absorbs battery acid and want let it corrode metal and other materials. is that right? if anyone has a lead or a source id appreciate it.

I always thought it was a blanket to keep it warm durning the winter time.

Guess you could check the dealer...they come on the trucks and Vettes.
