my neighbor is a complete moron. a few weeks ago i walk outside to go to work first thing in the morning. the neighbor left his ttops out of his v6 camaro. 98+ car. it had stormed heavily a few hours before and was still drizzling. i honestly don't think he stayed at the house that night. at least i hope not. now i walk outside just a minute ago and its been storming most of the morning. the dumbass left his drivers window down. i mean come on. how hard is it to remember to roll your freaking windows up and put your tops back on the car. ok rant off

I've come to the conclusion that 85% of the world's population is stupid. There is nothing you can do about it but to stay out of the way.

I don't understand people that don't care about their cars, but a part of me envies them. I occasionally wonder what it would be like not to have to spend so much energy looking for the best parking spot, wondering if someone is going to scrape the car inadvertantly, hoping the gardeners at work aren't going to sand blast the paint with their leaf blowers when they clean the parking lot, etc....

And I wish people would get the fuck out of the fast lane. I do whenever I can. Most people think they can drive better than they can though. I bet I do.

Look on the "bright" side. If the pattern you saw continues you should soon be able to pick the car up for a song once the upholstery and carpets start to rot and the electronics get flukey. Don't forget, without the sincere efforts of folks like that there'd be no Darwin Awards. Up to a point, stupidity has a certain entertainment value. You don't even have to pay a "cover charge" to watch them.

I once saw a nice Vette targa (I think it's called) where you remove the top a la t-top but with no center divider.
anyways.... it was a nice vette and a sunny day and it was parked in the shopping mall.
It got dark pretty fast with storm clouds... and i could see it was gonna pour. I parked beside him and took a big blue cover thing from the trunk and covered his car, put a note on it... "good car-enthusiast samaritan... please don't throw the tarp away... left my phone #"

The guy called me back later that day to thank me for allowing him to have a nice car without ruined leather seats... and not having to wet his pants on the way home.
I got the tarp back, as well as some $ (wasn't expecting it)... and got him to come and try Auto-X (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
