:drive:
woohoo... can you say I'm frickin happy !!!
the car made 501 rwhp / 468 rwtq
through a 9" and a steel drive shaft and steamrollers.
The car was picking up hp every run on the dyno even without changing the tune... another 5-10 hp are in there due to break-in.
It drives so strong it's unbelievable.
The car doesn't seem to be a 4k+ lbs monster anymore (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)
It revs so nonchalantly, that I hit the rev limiter twice by just blipping on the gas to accelerate. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)
I really want to thank and congratulate FTR Engines http://www.ftrengines.com for all the hard work and dedication to me as a customer... they not only took good care of me, got everything running nicely and strong in a very short time frame (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)
If you guys have engine work to do... you know where to go.
btw, here is another ls2 stroker Vette from the same shop:
http://s97997631.onlinehome.us/temp/Don/donbig.wmv

now I need to get used to the beast.
was driving all the day with cutout closed and pulled strong.
already lapped the car (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) :drive: (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)
yesterday night, went to the track to see a race, and @ end of the event, hopped in the track, with a sponsor passenger, and the track guy was happy to see us go around... he also loves f-bodies (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
damm... the 1 straightaway is so short now.
At the track, on the last lap, decided to open the cutout... damm... quite a beaSSt. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)
I really need to do something about my brake bias. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)
time to change the oil and go outside driving...
see you guys later.

the car should be fun @ the next AutoX event... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
hoping I can have a clean run :drive:
I'm gonna have a handfull... but I'm not complaining (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/drink.gif)

Eugenio, I'm glad to hear that you got the monster rebuilt and better than ever. Now you have to come down here and take me for a ride. Actually, the heck with that, I'll drive.....

Congrats !

Those are solid numbers.

It's weird how a couple hours behind the wheel makes all that frustration (and money (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) seem like a small thing, no ?
