If you can't afford that sharp-looking 9C1 six-speed, perhaps I can interest you in a tow vehicle/winter car... 1993 Caprice Classic Wagon 51,4xx miles This was a one-owner car until 90 days ago. The owner passed away and I acquired it from her estate. I put a new DieHard in it and put $550 worth of service into it at Monro, including transmission service, PCV valve, and new brake master cylinder. It's in very good shape, particularly inside. Starts and runs immediately in all weather. All factory options I can find including dual power seats and autodim rearview mirror! Tires are Goodyear Affinitys (really should be spelled Goodyear Affinities, I suppose) and appear nearly new. Sharp-eyed FRRAX members will see it's an L05 engine and four-speed automatic. It's been getting about 22mpg in my care. It's quiet and stable on the freeway - I've driven it to Cincinnati and back with no difficulty. FRRAX price is $2750. I had planned on keeping this wagon for 50,000 miles but I need to raise cash for the 2006 One Lap of America. |

Hey Jack, long time since I've seen ya! You're pushing forward on the One Lap? That's excellent. Hey, are you going to make it to any autox events this year?
