Ok, it looks like I need to restock on frrax decals. Does anyone need any for their project?

We do a "small" single color decal, about 8" or so long. They are available in black, red, blue, white, and silver/grey (charcoal?). They can be seen on the front fenders of Andy J's car in the Bonneville walk around video.

Price: $6.00 for one, 3.75 for each additional decal (shipping included).

We also have large 3 color versions of the logo. I have one across the top of my rear window on the Camaro, it's the perfect size for this. They can be done in red, blue and black or red, blue and silver/grey (charcoal?...metallic grey?, whatever it is, it looks good). The red, blue and black work well on light colored cars, trailers or toolboxes. The red, blue and metallic grey work on dark colored cars or on the rear hatch glass (the black doesn't show up on the rear window very well). This (in red, blue, black) can be seen on the back of Andy J's car in the walk around video.

Price: $27.00 shipped for one, each additional is $23.00 (these are large and have to be shiped in a box, so shipping is expensive).

I figure that while I'm putting in an order, I'll make sure anyone who wants one can get one ordered and then I'll have plenty of extras left.

If you are interested, just tell me how many and for the small ones, what color you need.

Thanks,

Kevin

When you say single color, is that the background color or the text color?

ie, for silver car do I want silver or something more visible.

They are die cut, there is no background. It's like you drew the logo on the car with paint marker (in other words, pick a color that shows up against silver, unless you're putting it on a magnetic backer, then pick something that shows up against your magnetic backer color).

Well, now that you mention it......

I wouldn't want broke people advertising for frrax......you have to have money (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) .

Of course this place is full of racers, so I know you're all broke...... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif)

Has this been test fitted on a C5 FRC?

Also, any way you might be able to get them to my co-driver who also happens to live in Columbus and save on the shipping?

Thanks for the photos guys. Aaron, I didn't realize that your Z06 was black. I was thinking it was red, I guess I was thinking of the car in your avatar.

And Aaron, your co-driver can pick them up or we can meet somewhere. No problem.

Yes, a large, single color (black in this case) is $12 for the first and $10 for each additional one.

Jules, so far, every set has stuck just fine. They are assembled as 3 pieces, but they have all applied perfectly (and all have been shipped rolled up like yours were). Let me know if you have any problems. Andy J has tested some of them to 160+ mph and they stick great..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif)

I'm about out of silver (I have about 5 coming and I think the person above you wants 3 of them), I've got a ton of white, some red (as I remember), a couple black and I think there are a few blue in the box as well. I try to keep spares, and ordered some spares with this order, so I've got a few.

What did you prefer?

[Andy J has tested some of them to 160+ mph and they stick great..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif)

Yep -damned straight - 164.8mph to be exact; but I also have a Jack in the Box Reindeer antenna ball that has made every race this year as well. He took a serious bug hit at speed in Texas and lost an eye. Tough little ball. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/gr_driving3.gif)

Andy,

You're still running an antenna? As I remember, I found/did the math on the drag of an antenna and it took a bit over 2 hp to move an antenna at 200 mph (it may be more with it whipping around, my math assumed a perfectly rigid tubular surface). It's all drag, I'd take that thing off of there for events. Of course, I'd tape up the hole too (if it were me). It's not as important now, but if you go faster, every little bit helps.

My car isn't nearly "race ready" but I guess i could show support and rock a sticker for the information I have learned thus far. I think I'll take 2 small white ones if there's any left.

I have plenty of white ones left.

Kevin,

It has 2 antennas -- regular one and a scanner antenna. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . Shoot, It still has a full interior, working A/C, stereo amp and 2 big old subs in a box in the back well. We are going to the Texas Mile end of October -- I am going to strip it down to fighting weight for that one. With our current safety equipment, 168mph is the max we can run in the ORR The car easily gets up there in a hurry.
