No, no. Don't use it. I put one on my buddy's car and he immediately went out and ran into the armco coming out of Turn 2 at TWS. Beware. It's a deadly device!

I may try this when I enter my Trans Am in the next F1 race. Sure I'm slower, but I'll not have to make any pit stops!

Better buy one quick, before the big oil companies have the guy whacked. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The only claim made for the CD o'mods is that it will consume many hours of your time (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Even IF we went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out on a limb and accepted that wrapping a magnet around the fuel line would untangle all those gasoline molecules that became tangled by sloshing in the tank, I fail to see why the "gaussian value" would need to be custom tuned for each VEhickle model. But, at least it comes with a zip-tie, so you do get SOMEthing useful for your money, if you don't squander it to attach the yellow magnet (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Now, where did I put my tank of winter air? With this sudden cold snap, I better get the tires flushed and winterized pronto (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This post has been edited by sgarnett: Dec 1 2006, 11:23 PM |

"Each Fuel Saver has a specific Gaussian value and Part Number which will only works with this exact make / model." (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

You know what the funny part is? If you Google :Gaussian valve", nothing is returned! They simply made it up!! Well no, they didn't make up "Gaussian value", but they were obviously trying to make it sound as whiz-bang and technical as possible. Simply claiming that they choose a specific magnet for each application wouldn't sound as impressive and arcane. Hmm, I wonder if it's time to purchase a new drivetrain rotation initialization amperage source for the truck .... This post has been edited by sgarnett: Dec 2 2006, 11:49 AM |

Nothing new. Jc Whitney and others have been selling fuel line magnets for about as long as I can remember.

Yup. They've been around since at least the early 70's, when everyone had an uncle who invented a 150mpg carburator that was suppressed by the oil companies (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
I live less than 10 miles from the water fuel museum (seriously). Apparently you can burn oxygen and hydrogen to produce more energy than it took to separate them (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . In fact, the claim was that a small battery could be used to start the process of splitting the water molecules (that much is actually true), and recombining them would liberate enough energy to not only drive the car, but also to drive an alternator to continue the process (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Since the combustion product is water, I guess you could just let it run forever on just the initial battery charge and water supply, creating more and more energy from, uh, from, well .... This miracle was suppressed by the oil companies too (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Now, where did I put my tinfoil hat? UPDATE: The museum closed in August, 2006, but you can still buy a book, DVD of interviews, and plans (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by sgarnett: Dec 3 2006, 05:16 PM |
