Hi all,

In the process of adding some safety stuff to the ORR car.

I want to add a fuel pump cut off switch, where is the best place to tap the + line to add a toggle in the center part of the dash?

Also, I was looking for a spot to mount the Actuator handle for the fire system and many of you recommended the A pillar area in previous threads so the Safety folks could access it through the window. I got to thinking if I have an 'event' that requires the fire system to be actuated, an armadillo or a rattlesnake are going to be the closest living beings to me. Chances are any course workers are going to be many, many minutes away. I think I will mount it in the center dash area as well so the navigator (if present) can get to it.

In my ´98 there was a gray wire running in a bundle from the relay box on the driver's side through the firewall, between the seat and the door, and behind the back seat to the pump. You could find the right pin on the connector under the dash (to get the right wire) and then extend a loop to the center and put a switch in it.

Thanks John

I looked in the relay box on the drivers side fender and did not see a fuel pump relay --this is a 96. Am I missing it?

It does show a gray wire in the schematic.
