Sorry, no parts list.
Cruise the fastener isle at your local hardware store. I'm going by memory, so double check. Camera mounts are all 1/4-20 thread. U-Bolt is the regular duty 1 3/4" (or 2"?) diameter (Heavy duty is 3/8 thread). The guard is just a left over vacuum line plug I had lying around. I used ny-lok nuts and cranked them down on top of extra washers. I sprayed the U-bolt and washer with Plasti-Cote prior to assembly. Try to keep the threaded section as short as possible, otherwise the camera will pick up too much vibration. This mount works great for placing the camera on the top of my roll bar (I have a convertible) and for video taping cars following behind me. Mounted to the harness bar, the camera sits a little bit low. I may try fitting an aluminum spacer under the camera next time. |
