In the quest to make this car run for Nashville, I ordered a set of 800 in lb "competition" springs from Global West. I then wound up deciding to use something else. These are on the way to me and haven't arrived yet. However, since I'm not going to be using them, they are for sale. When I called, they told me that they are 800 in lbs and lower the car 1" in the front.
These are 3rd gen springs and will not fit a 4th gen. Also, this is only a pair of front springs, no rears. $150 shipped (48 states) |

Being stiffer than your springs and lowering the same amount would make me think that the free length will be shorter. Since they haven't arrived yet, I can't measure it for you, but if they were stiffer and the same free length, you'd have a higher ride height.
I ordered a set of Ground Control fronts with weight jacks and a bit more rate (1000 in lb) and a set of rears to match (or to try and see if they match) from them as well. I've still got a set of 150's to try if the others are too stiff. |
