Is there a way to turn the airbag light off using LS1Edit? Since I disconnected the airbags, the light flashes, attempts to pump, then the airbag light and service engine light comes on all the time.

The only other thing I can think of that could trigger the service vehicle light is the brake system. Low fluid or abs complaining about something not right. Because the only major systems that can talk are the pcm, airbag, and abs/brakes.
PCM already has SES, so that leaves airbag and abs/brakes. (there is another little module under the dash that checks fluid level, 3rd brake light, etc. but I'm lumping that in with abs) (you might be thinking bcm, but I don't think any of the bcm functions -- such as power accessories, drl's, fog lights, or alarm -- will set it, and you probably don't care about those anyway.) You should be able to just zap both those bulbs. |
